Buyer Beware!!!

BUYERS BEWARE!! We went into the store and purchased 2 recliners and then 2 matching couches. We paid for the entire purchase that day. The shipment did arrive about 2 weeks later (on Sat.) and we immediately noticed that the recliners had inferior particle board foundation while the instore had plywood foundation. This immediately looked like a bait and switch situation. We informed the delivery guy of the wrong recliners & then followed up on the following Monday to inform store of the wrong recliners. We were told they would deliver the correct items but when they came they were identical, with particle board foundation. In store that knew the problem was Homie & Daniel & then a huge bunch of Customer Service folks that do a tag team of getting nothing done. After a couple months of back and forth, we gave them the option of #1 Replace our recliners with what we bought like in the showroom that had plywood foundations. #2 If can't replace, give us the 5 year protection warranty on the recliners so we will not be penalized with the inferior foundations of the recliners you sent us. #3 Refund our entire purchase so we can get good recliners and then two couches that match them. BTW, they have a policy that you must contact them within 3 business days if what you recieved was damaged or defective and they say they will work with you to repair of replace the item(s). Our recliners were defective and they were contacted within three days and we still sit here with these inferior particle board recliners. I had thought Ashley ws a reputable business but my eyes are now open. Between their bait & switch they did on our purchase and their duck and dodge Customer Service, I will never do business with them again. BUYERS BEWARE!!
